Local Rules

OUT OF BOUNDS (Rule 18)
A ball is Out of Bounds:-

A) Beyond all boundary walls, hedges and fences as defined by white stakes.
B) Beyond the white stakes surrounding the greenkeeper's compound between the 7th green and 8th tee.
C) Beyond the white stakes to the right of the 11th hole.
D) Beyond the stakes defining out of bounds to the right of the 9th and 17th holes only when playing these holes. When playing all other holes, the marker posts are immovable obstructions.
E) In or on the Clubhouse, the Patio, practice putting green and Car Park.
F) Beyond the white Stakes along the inner edge of the access road to the left of the 6th & 7th holes.

FIXED SPRINKLER HEADS
All fixed sprinkler heads are Immovable Obstructions Rule 16.1 applies. In addition, relief may be taken when a ball comes to rest within two club-lengths of a fixed sprinkler head which is close to the putting green and on the line of play.

GROUND UNDER REPAIR - play prohibited
Areas defined by white lines and/or blue posts.

INTEGRAL PARTS OF THE COURSE
The protective fence at the 17th tee. Rule 19.2 applies

PATHS
All constructed paths and artificial materials are immovable obstructions and include those on the course with board edging or made of Astroturf. Relief may be taken under Rule 16.1. Designated Dropping Zones are situated close to the paths adjacent to the 2nd and 4th tees.

TEMPORARY GREENS
When not in play, Temporary Greens surrounded by a white, continuous line are to be regarded as an area of Ground Under Repair. Rule 16.1 applies.
When temporary greens are in play, the ordinary green must be treated as the Wrong Putting Green and relief taken under Rule 13.1f without penalty.

PENALTY AREAS
Identified by yellow stakes/lines LATERAL PENALTY AREAS - Identified by red stakes/lines.
